Innsbruck

Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol and known as the Host City for the Olympic Games, is just 25 km away. Its old center with the house with the “Golden Roof” is very famous and worth seeing on a day trip. Beautiful cathedrals, museums, Alpenzoo zoo, the cozy Maria-Theresien street where you can shop in the nice little boutiques and enjoy the countless cafes, restaurants and terraces. It is easy to reach by car but very impressive is to go by train. The amazing views you have from the train because the track goes over bridges, through tunnels, past various mountains. Here you will also see beautiful mountain gorges and a beautiful view of the Inn Valley. Innsbruck airport is only 20 km from Seefeld.
